Optimized indoor climate at Merchant’s Academy in Bristol
The 12,500 square metre Merchant’s Academy is a new secondary school sponsored by the Society of Merchant Venturers. Six faculty pavilions housing independent teaching spaces are arranged in pairs around three sides of the courtyard. Each pair shares a teaching garden and a glazed entrance.

WindowMaster, Europe’s largest provider of natural ventilation and smoke detection solutions, was chosen to provide the window automation system for the Merchant’s Academy because of its ability to provide a complete installation, in particular the central computer control system. In addition, the installation will include motors, window actuators, various sensors and a weather station.
