We are looking for a trained installation engineer with knowledge of low voltage electrical installs, good computer skills, the ability to manage and program touchscreen control software and computer-based software, and who can ensure efficient installations. The tasks will be carried out with the full support of the Operations team based in our UK office in Kettering. **Please note that this will be a physically demanding role at times.

Main Responsibilities
- Hands-on installation of WindowMaster window automation products.
- Hands-on installation of WindowMaster window control products.
- Hands-on installation of cabling & metal / plastic cable containment.
- Commissioning of natural ventilation, mixed-mode, and smoke and heat ventilation products.
- Identifying defects on existing & new installs
- Reporting with use of WindowMaster’s electronic report templates.
The tasks vary widely - you prioritize and carry out the allocated work yourself, or with your colleague’s assistance on larger projects, while focusing on delivering a high level of customer service. You need to be able to identify defects on different types of systems, networks, and installations. You are service-minded, quality-conscious and enjoy doing a thorough job.

Your professional profile
Ideally you already have an electrical, automation, mechanical install background and possess the following skills:
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- The ability to work based on project illustrations, such as schematics, plans & elevations
- Attention to detail
- Calm demeanour
- The ability to travel throughout the UK & Ireland
- Organised, flexible, and able to approach and complete different types of tasks
- Possess good people skills as you will need to communicate clearly and politely with clients and colleagues
- General understanding of BMS system protocols and networks
- UK driving licence, preferably clean but minor points endorsements are acceptable.
